The Pub Trail is the pub-crawl variant of the City Trail: the same principle of riddles and tasks on your smartphone, but with a route that takes your team past a number of cosy cafés in Groningen. Groningen is known for its vibrant student life, and that atmosphere forms the backdrop for the evening. Players don't do drinking games but do complete tasks, and play as a team against other teams to achieve the highest score.
