About this venue
ROX Escape Experience is the regional top venue in Nijmegen and surroundings, located since late 2022 on the Nyma/Vasim site (formerly Project Escape, over 7 years). There are three rooms plus a large-scale group game: De Ramkraak, a contemporary heist where you crack safes while police close in (once TERPECA #24 worldwide), De Bezetting, a WO2 room from 1943 based on real local events in which you search the resistance leader Jozef van Hovell's student house with period-accurate radio and rotary telephone, and The Show, a lighter 1990s TV game show. In-character hosts, hints delivered through the theme (the old telephone in De Bezetting), and a post-game chat in the café are praised.
