Prison Experience Arnhem organizes escape games within the real Koepelgevangenis, with the 1886 oldest Panopticon dome prison in the Netherlands (over 2,000 m2). The offering includes Innocent (escape as a notorious, life-sentenced prisoner and evade the guard), the large-scale team-building game The Dome Escape with parallel storylines over the cell rings, and the newer The Vendetta Code. The location is fully themed and the authenticity of the building impresses everyone. The games themselves receive mixed to low scores: reviewers complain about too much arithmetic, little tension and sometimes shabby spaces, while the prison as an experience is almost unanimously praised.
