Landal Stroombroek

About this venue

Landal Stroombroek (now under Roompot) is a holiday park in the Achterhoek near Braamt with one escape room as a park facility: 'Back in Time'. You travel back to when Stroombroek was still pasture and a canning factory was running at full steam; by unravelling the real history of the place you must prove yourself 'worthy of the factory director's legacy'. It's a typical holiday park escape room: charming local history premise and original, accessible puzzles for families, but with minimal staff input. The two escapetalk reviews give a modest 4.8/10: praised are the original puzzles and suitability for families, but visitors complain that the game host 'seemed half-engaged' and repeatedly sent players to already-solved sections, and that an incorrectly placed prop led to a wrong code. At around €47.50 per group it's low-threshold, though one visitor didn't think it was worth sixty euros.
