Kids Escape Room 'Het Slot' at Emmalaan 2 in Dodewaard was a children's escape room for ages 7–14 (4–8 children, ~1.5 hours including food and drinks). The standout feature: every session was led from inside by a costumed host — noblewoman Esmeralda in the knight adventure or wizard's daughter Luna in the magic adventure — who served simultaneously as character, hostess, storyteller, hint system, and pace-keeper, with difficulty adjusted live to match the children's age. The goal was not to escape but to open the treasure chest via puzzles and skill challenges; two story skins on the same medieval room.
