About this venue

IntoTheGame at Weerstraat 37 in the pedestrian center of Tiel is the successor to Escape Tiel, renovated into a small entertainment center with escape rooms, competitive VR arena and kids' parties. There are three adult rooms: Space Mission (repair a spaceship to stop a meteor), The Lost Crystal (descend into a Betuwe coal mine to unravel the disappearance of director Mark Zwartberg and a precious crystal) and the flagship The Elixir of Shadows (brew an antidote for 'The Black Shadow' in the German village of Waldeck). The family-run location prides itself on 'compelling stories, impressive decors and surprising special effects' and rates its own rooms on separate axes (difficulty/tension/story). Reviewers mention enthusiastic staff, varied puzzles and a nice difficulty curve; the atmospheric mine of The Lost Crystal outshines the somewhat 'clinical' interior of Space Mission.
