Instagames Lasergames & Escape Rooms at Maanderweg 12c in Ede was the direct successor to Intersphere Lasergames — for decades 'THE laser game venue in Ede' — and reopened in 2019 after renovation under the name InstaGames. The escape offering consisted entirely of licensed VR catalogue rooms (Cyberpunk, Alice in Wonderland, Christmas, Chernobyl, Survival), supplemented with VR shooters, laser games and party packages with a bar. There are barely any public reviews: not a single escapetalk review, no notable TripAdvisor presence — six years at a well-known address without the escape room community ever noticing it. The only real publicity was the closure: in February 2025 the venue suddenly shut down, the owner disappeared while continuing to accept advance bookings up until shortly before, and cheated customers (including a mother with a children's party, €250 lost) found themselves facing a locked door.
