Apeldoorn โ˜… 6,6 (escapetalk 3.3 (Politiekamer) / ERN 5.0) Closed 2 rooms

About this venue

Fundustry Apeldoorn was an escape room location on Nieuwstraat in the city center, with two rooms originally built by Original Tours and later operated by the group outing chain Fundustry. In De Politiekamer you're wrongfully locked up and must solve the real crime to prove your innocence (inspired by the nearby Police Academy), and in De Paleiskamer you investigate a ransacked, torn-apart royal room (inspired by Palace Het Loo). The rooms scored poorly: reviews complained about illogical, off-theme puzzles, worn props, double bookings and groups too large (up to 15 people) in too small a space. The local-anchor idea was praised, but the execution wasn't. The rooms are marked as permanently closed on escapetalk.

Rooms

What visitors say

  • Themes themselves well-chosen and recognizably anchored locally
  • Friendly welcome and lots of cooperation (mentioned as a rare positive)
  • Illogical, off-theme puzzles ('more difficult than fun') and broken/worn props
  • Far too small for large groups; double bookings and staff that didn't track game status
