Escapepark Veluwe was located in a forest park on Asselsestraat in Apeldoorn, next to a climbing forest, and positioned itself as 'escape room 2.0': barely any locks, but sensors and mechanics that made the room react as soon as you solved a puzzle. In Het Simiae Instituut you participated in the intelligence experiments of Dr. Macaque β it was called 'the most active escape room in the Netherlands' β and in the follow-up room De Werkplaats you escaped the sinister home lab of the now-deceased scientist; there were also junior rooms and an outdoor game. Visitors called the puzzles very original and appreciated the combination of physical activity, forest location and story (8.1 on escaperoomsnederland). More critical feedback focused on technology that sometimes glitched, causing groups to get stuck, the occasional unclear puzzle and inconsistent service. Since July 2026 the website has been completely taken offline by the owner and Escapepark Veluwe is no longer available to book; no reopening or relocation has been found.
Dit was ontzettend leuk om te doen! Een leuk verhaal en uitdaging genoeg!β escaperoomsnederland.nl
Beide escaperooms erg originele puzzels. Niet alleen sloten, maar leuke hersenkrakers.β escaperoomsnederland.nl
Vriendelijk ontvangst en goede begeleiding. Vette kamer met een mix van denk en doe.β escaperoomsnederland.nl
