Escapepark Veluwe is located in a forest park on Asselsestraat in Apeldoorn, next to a climbing forest, and positions itself as 'escape room 2.0': virtually no locks, but sensors and mechanisms that make the room react as soon as you solve a puzzle. In Het Simiae Instituut you participate in the intelligence experiments of Dr. Macaque โ it's called 'the most active escape room in the Netherlands' โ and in follow-up room De Werkplaats you escape from the sinister home lab of the now-deceased scientist; there are also junior rooms and an outdoor game. Visitors call the puzzles very original and appreciate the combination of physical activity, forest location and story (8.1 on escaperoomsnederland). More critical voices mention technology that sometimes fails causing a group to get stuck, an occasional unclear puzzle and variable service; purists find it not a 'real escape room' due to the absence of locks.
Dit was ontzettend leuk om te doen! Een leuk verhaal en uitdaging genoeg!โ escaperoomsnederland.nl
Beide escaperooms erg originele puzzels. Niet alleen sloten, maar leuke hersenkrakers.โ escaperoomsnederland.nl
