Escape Room Betuwe was a rural escape room at party center Arkelshoef in Tricht, only open on weekends. In Hunter's Lodge you entered the hunting lodge of falconer Cassandra 'Cassie' Ruighaver circa 1700 to discover her secret; the earlier Escape from the City was a nod to the origin of escape rooms themselves. Visitors praised the atmosphere, finish and especially the super-friendly reception (service received a 9), but experienced players found the puzzles too easy and the difficulty artificially increased by dim lighting and loud music. The venue quietly closed around 2021; the Cassandra concept returned once more as the better-reviewed Enchanted Witch at a new address in Tricht, but that has also since permanently closed.
