About this venue

Escape Room 0345 was a cold case room in the basement of Hotel/Brasserie De Schildkamp in Asperen: you dove into the 1930s to solve an 85-year-old unsolved murder case, centred on an officer missing since 1930 and a construction site that turned out to hide the remains of a historic waterline fort. A fun quirk was the small costume change beforehand, and for many players the transition from construction site to the historic fort was the surprise moment of the game. Reviews were notably mixed: casual players gave nines and tens for the well-thought-out puzzles and the complete evening experience (hotel, bowling, restaurant), while veterans found the room dated and poorly maintained towards the end. In 2024 the room closed permanently; at the same location, Het Verborgen Verhaal from Activiteiten Asperen now operates.
