Escape Ede is a small, owner-run venue on Galvanistraat with two rooms and a drinks corner. In 'Kamer 1803' it's about an old hotel with one room that's never rented out — 'not everyone who checks in checks out again' — a spine-tingling mystery room (16+) with jump scares and a much-praised plot twist halfway through. In 'The Lost Dutchman' (75 minutes) you retrieve secret agent Kallenbag who is stuck in a forgotten time period by experimental technology. Visitors are notably enthusiastic: 9.2 on escaperoomsnederland, and escapetalk calls it a 'hidden gem' worth traveling to Ede for. The story, the gamemasters who guide you through the narrative, and the behind-the-scenes tour after are especially praised; there are hardly any notable complaints.
