Outdoor Escape Lemmer

Lemmer 1 room

About this venue

Outdoor Escape Lemmer is a self-guided escape walk of about 5 kilometers through the old fishing village, built by Manage2escape and started via the VVV. The mission 'The Attack of the English' takes place in September 1799, when English warships under Captain James Boorder appeared at the harbor of Lemmer: your team must get a letter of appeal to Napoleon to a secret location in the village in time before the village is bombed. You play via an app on your own phone, with puzzles and codes hidden in real building façades, monuments and the harbor; you have a maximum of 2.5 hours. An accessible family activity (from about age 10) that is mainly visible through tourism channels — reviews from escape room enthusiasts are virtually completely absent.

What visitors say

  • Atmospheric route past the most beautiful spots of the fishing village
  • Real historical story (the English attack of 1799) as the game frame
  • Very suitable for families; playable at any time you wish
  • Puzzle weight is light: more of a heritage walk with puzzles than a puzzle showcase
  • No game master and barely any review footprint after years of operation
