This escape room at climbing forest Klimdaris (Sportlaan 13, West-Terschelling) is the same venue as 'Escaperoom Terschelling': one room above the climbing park reception, decorated as an abandoned WWII bunker deep in the forest. According to legend, doctor Hans Klein conducted secret explosives experiments there and disappeared without a trace before the capitulation — but now lights are burning and strange sounds are heard. During the investigation, players accidentally activate the old security system and must stop a self-destruct sequence within an hour. With an 8.0 on escapetalk, this is a beloved holiday room: visitors praise the atmospheric decoration, fair puzzles and a surprising twist at the end that nobody spoils. Only seasoned players find the difficulty level somewhat low; booking is by phone, for groups of 3 to 6 from age 12.
