About this venue

Escaperoom Kollumerzwaag is a small, family-run venue on Ype Smidswei by escape room enthusiast Niek Sibma, who built his first room single-handedly in six months. In 'Edison Escape' (1910), inventor Thomas Edison's house takes centre stage: Edison has fled from arrest and players must protect his life's work without being caught by police themselves. In 'Disco Escape' (1985), disco die-hards must get a struggling discotheque up and running without the owner noticing. Reviews particularly praise the friendly welcome, clear explanations and fun, logical puzzles; the escapetalk score remains average at 6.8, mainly because the atmosphere scores poorly and the décor contains much clutter — rugs, pots and books that don't belong anywhere. For the region, the group price (€80–€120) is reasonable.
