Escape Room Almere is part of VVC-Adventure, an events company that has existed since 1988 and offers more than a hundred activities — this is a group outing factory, not a boutique escape room. At Damsluisweg (150 free parking spaces) stand six rooms, from a spooky hospital with rumors of organ trafficking to a double-decker with a bomb, with physical effects such as real smoke, gas leak effects and a sinking ceiling as eye-catchers. Particularly noteworthy is the XXL room 'Titanic' for 8 to 200 participants, sold as a team building package of 4 hours including dinner (€75 p.p.). Gamemasters monitor via cameras and give hints through the loudspeaker. The audience consists mainly of corporate outings and large groups; escape room enthusiasts rarely discuss the rooms, so in-depth reviews are scarce.
