About this venue
Emmelocked is a small independent venue at Havenstraat in Emmeloord with one deeply developed fantasy room, positioned as 'an escape from reality' rather than a regular escape room. In Levenswater (meanwhile rebuilt as Levenswater 2.0, playable again for those who did version 1) the magical world Emlia is out of balance: a dark force has abducted the guardian of the lifewater and you have one night before the blood moon is full to brew the antidote. Unique is that you don't win by opening a door but by making something, and that each object serves both as puzzle and story. Visitors are remarkably enthusiastic: breathtaking décor by real street artists, puzzles beautifully woven into the décor and a service that someone would 'give an 11' to. Noteworthy complaints are rare; the only limiting factor is that there is only one room.
